Job Description
To provide advice and support in practice formulation and associated best practice improvement tactics; enabling the provision of specialist business development expertise. Selecting this role has a compensation & benefit impact in Personal loans.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across the regions and corporate and to work those opportunities to their successful conclusion.
- Generate, evaluate and make recommendations on Personal Loans strategy as this relates to the customer value proposition and driving growth and sustainability from customer relationship portfolios.
- Actively promote and manage the collaborative engagement of internal and external stakeholders, including regulators, suppliers, clients, service providers, business partners and other Absa entities.
- Fulfil all activities in adherence to relevant control and compliance requirements, and quality standards.
- Drive customer relationship management and delivering the sale of products and/or services, providing sales support and contributing towards business growth and sustainability through business development initiatives.
- Manage and maintain sales data quality, governance, and integrity.
- Leverage CRM systems (Salesforce) to track performance and customer insights.
- Develop dashboards and reporting for pipeline health, conversion rates, and sales performance KPIs.
- Support the design and execution of go-to-market (GTM) strategies.
- Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and customer behavior.
Requirements
- Bachelors Degree and Professional Qualifications: Business, Commerce and Management Studies (Required).
- Strong quantitative analysis capabilities.
- Data storytelling and visualization.
- Deep understanding of sales funnels and buyer journeys.
- Stakeholder management skills.
- Communication and influencing skills.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities.
