About the position
Our client, a leading mining company, is currently seeking to engage with an Administrator to join their growing team to be based in Kathu, Northern Cape. This will be a 12 month contract, renewable for up to 3 years.
Reporting into the Support Services Manager, you will be required to provide comprehensive project administration and SAP transactional support to Project Managers, Construction Managers and the Project Controls team in accordance with the company standards and governance frameworks.
Minimum Requirements:
- Matric
- NQF 5 certificate or diploma in admin/ business admin
- NQF 6-7 Degree in admin - preferred
- 2 - 3 years administrative experience in project environment in a mining and related operations environment.
- Proficient in MS Office applications and Adobe Acrobat
- Proficient in Electronic File Management
- Experience with SAP
- Valid driver's license and own vehicle
- Willing to relocate to Kathu (Northern Cape), if not in the province
Main duties will include, but are not limited to:
- Onboarding and mobilization of resources and contractors
- Where necessary, maintaining of project calendars, meeting schedules and logistics
- Assistance in coordination of project reporting inputs
- Support with travel arrangements
- Raising Purchase requisitions in SAP
- Follow-up with key stakeholders on approvals.
- Receipt and preparation of invoices for approval
- Coordinating the project administration functions within the project in a systematic way that adheres to the company standards
- Alignment and integration with greater project control team
- Minute meetings, action registers and other applicable registers
- Other discretionary items as required by Project Manager
Position interfaces with: Project Team, Management, Suppliers, Contractors and Consultants.
