Construction Manager (Underground Mining)

About the position

We are currently recruiting for an experienced Construction Manager with a strong background in underground mining for a 6-month project based in Zambia.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Manage and oversee underground mining construction activities
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to specification
• Monitor site performance, safety compliance, and quality standards
• Lead and coordinate multidisciplinary project teams
• Control project costs and track progress against schedules
• Ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations

Desired Experience & Qualification:

• Minimum 10 years' experience in underground mining construction
• Proven track record managing large-scale mining projects
• Strong knowledge of project management, cost control, and site execution
• Experience working on mining sites in Africa is advantageous
• Excellent leadership and communication skills

Package & Remuneration:

• Market-related salary
• Travel and accommodation provided

Additional Requirements:

• South African citizens preferred
• Must be willing to work in Zambia for the full 6-month contract
