Specialist: Institutional Flow Sales

Proactive, ambitious professional with a passion for financial markets and delivering results to join the Institutional Flow Sales team based in Johannesburg. The team focuses on covering domestic and international institutional clients for Fixed Income. This is a pivotal role for someone eager to make a significant impact in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.

• Manage the distribution of fixed income flow products to institutional clients, ensuring effective coverage and execution.
• Build, maintain, and deepen relationships with key institutional clients, including asset managers, pension funds, banks, hedge funds, and insurers.
• Collaborate with internal teams in Trading, Coverage, Structuring, and Research to deliver comprehensive market insights and product expertise.
• Conduct research and market analysis to identify emerging trends, risks, and opportunities within fixed income, and prepare and present well-researched trade ideas and recommendations, showcasing the firm’s products and services to clients.

• At least 3 years of institutional sales experience.
• Strong numeracy and analytical skills, with proficiency in data-driven analytics to generate and support trade ideas and client solutions.
• Deep understanding of fixed income markets and factors that influence them, including macroeconomic, geopolitical, and regulatory factors.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills (verbal and written), with the confidence to engage clients and collaborate with internal teams.
