Specialist: Business Development (C&B)

As a Specialist Business Development, you will be responsible for managing a core portfolio of existing AVMS Fleet clients as well as identifying and pursuing acquisition opportunities for the bank within the fleet industry in South Africa. You will drive revenue growth and provide consultative support to existing and prospective clients, requiring collaboration with the sales and management team to align strategies with the bank's goals.

• Manage a portfolio of existing AVMS fleet clients, acting as their primary point of contact.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, acting as a trusted advisor for fleet management.
• Conduct regular client meetings to discuss ongoing fleet needs and business objectives.
• Provide consultative support and tailored solutions based on industry practices.
• Identify opportunities for cross-selling and up-selling, developing customized solutions.
• Implement strategies to increase revenue and market share.
• Maintain strong internal relationships across divisions.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management on acquisition opportunities.
• Stay updated on industry trends and regulatory developments.

• 5 – 8 years in the fleet environment.
• Bachelor's degree in business administration, sales, marketing, or related field.
• Proven experience in sales, business development or account management in the fleet industry.
• Strong knowledge of fleet management practices and financial products.
