Job Description

Contribute to tactical planning from an operational perspective. Implement and deliver approved marketing plans, whilst building Broker relationships in the short term Insurance space, specifically the Eastern Cape area. Your primary objective will be to grow new business Sales for Personal Lines, Commercial as well as HOC business through Bank and various Multi Distribution Channels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coach, mentor and manage team members toward driving business objectives and ensuring colleague development.
  • Responsible for budget within region and ensure constant monitoring of budget as well as providing input with respect to cost-savings and appropriate resource allocation.
  • Seek opportunities within the Short Term Insurance Ecosystem for optimal cross-sell and unlocking of opportunities for other Absa business lines.
  • Ensure processes are in place for client management across portfolios.
  • Network with internal and external stakeholders to maintain client relationships.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business, Commerce, and Management Studies (Required).
  • FAIS-Approved Qualification Regulatory Exam for Representatives (RE5).
  • Experience as Per the FAIS Act.
  • Product Specific Training once Onboarded.
  • Class Of Business Training.
  • Continuous Professional Development.
  • Attest To Honesty, Integrity, and Good Standing.
