Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or Advanced Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering
  • Postgraduate qualification (e.g., MBA/MBL) advantageous
  • Government Certificate of Competency (GCC) – Mines and Works
  • Minimum 15 years' progressive experience in the Mining sector with substantial engineering leadership in underground operations
  • Professional registration with a recognised engineering body
  • In-depth knowledge of mining regulations, safety standards, and engineering best practices
  • Proven leadership and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project and budget management experience
  • Proficiency with engineering tools and software for analysis, planning, and performance tracking
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement abilities
